Storming the Castle 10K

 

We had a number of athletes competing in the Storming the Castle 10k this afternoon in Carrick with many strong performances for some running on home soil.
Ricky Craig was our first runner over the line finishing in 7th place in a competitive field. Davy Turtle, Matt McDowell & James Kitchin all ran strongly to finish in the Top 20 and place in their respective age categories, with Matt winning his & running a PB. Newcomer James Gourley recorded a new personal best in his debut outing in the club vest, while Davy Lennon continued his progress to finish in 43.09. It was great to see Andy Liddle back in racing action while Pamela Kane recorded another strong performance in her new club vest & Norman Caughey continued to defy his M70 category by finishing within the hour.
