Raheny 5

  Well done to our group of runners who took on the Raheny 5 Mile Race in Dublin this afternoon. Some sharp times after a good start to winter training. Great to have such a big squad out. Provisional results below, with a shout out also to Billy Reed who ran well at the NI Masters Cross Country this afternoon. Weekend round up

  Well done to our Men’s Team who competed in the Mathieson Cup Cross Country Race at Mallusk this afternoon and finished in a credible 9th position in the league competition. First over the line was Brandon McKeown with a strong run for 24th position and he was backed up by strong runs from John Neill, Davy Turtle & Billy Reed who all finished well up their age category. Thanks to Mallusk Harriers for their hard-work in organising. Results as follows: 24th Brandon McKeown 29.39 39th John Neill 30.41 52nd Davy Turtle 31.17 60th Billy Reed 32.04 85th Steven Beggs 33.35 Shout out also to Peter Fraser who ran a good time of 1.29.55 in the Helsby Half Marathon in England this morning.

Race Over The Glens

Full results to follow but the breaking news from Glenariff Forest is that East Antrim Harriers take the silverware at today’s Race Over The Glens by winning the Male Team Prize. A nice reward for a strong winters training as a group!
