The Officers and Members of East Antrim Harriers were deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of former East Antrim Harrier Charlie Owens.
Charlie won many individual and team honours whilst wearing the famous black and white hoops, and ran alongside other EAH greats such as Jimmy Todd and the McCooke brothers.
Our thoughts are with Charlie's friends and family at this sad time.
Congratulation to North Belfast Harriers. The winners of the 83rd McConnell Shield.
On behalf of everyone at East Antrim we thank the runners who supported our event. Thanks also to the EAH members who gave up their Saturday which enabled the races to be such a success. Job well done guys.
Please see the EAH Facebook page for more photographs.
It is with great regret and sadness that the members of East Antrim Harriers learn of the passing of their esteemed member and President Bertie Grimason. Bertie has been a long standing and faithful member of East Antrim Harriers for the past 35 years. He represented East Antrim Harriers and N. Ireland for many years at the British/Irish Cross Country Vets Championships. East Antrim Harriers will miss him dearly and we would like to extend the deepest sympathies to his wife Jean, daughters Yvonne and Carol and the entire family circle.
