Yesterday 4 Harriers along with a very special guest took on the traditional Castlewellan Christmas Cracker - a pairs race over approximately 9 miles of mixed terrain including fields, trails, hills, mud & road.
First club members home were Chris Collins & Rick Hill who ran strongly to finish in 27th place in 1.06.12. Next club member home was Billy Reed who was partnered by ultra-running legend Nicky Spinks. They finished in 81st place & 2nd in their category in 1.12.54, closely followed by Larry McAteer & his partner in 86th place in 1.13.54.
